Automatic Knife Sharpener a heavy duty sharpening equipment for precise sharpening of microtome knives of ail sizes upto 300mm and 12mm in thickness. This Instrument is designed as per Arthur Thomas Philadelphia model and is verysturdyin construction. Itits equipped with a reversible glass platedia.300mm, having one side ground and other polished and is rotated mechanically at constant speed by means of an enclosed electric motor. There is an adjustable mechanism for holding, including counter balancing and swinging of a microtome knife to and fro with glass wiper and abrasive dust cover. The miller attachment effects automatic lifting and reversing of the microtome knife cam and gear. There is an over head reservoir and support for lubricant required forgrinclingand polishing.Theentire mechanism is housed in sheet metal. Before use put abressive powder on the glass plate. The instrument provides simple and positive adjustment for fixing the amplitude of the knife excursion, angleof cutting ledge leveland for limitingthe leftfor different types of knives.

The Almicro Automatic knife sharpener will sharpen anyAlmicro or similar knife upto and including 120mm in length.There is an electrical timing device which is set for desired time, depending upon the condition of knife.The transparent plexi glass cover encloses the entire working mechanism and provides a safe dust and grit free sharpening process. The knife strokes against a high frequency glass joining plate and after three exactly equivalent strokes one sideof knife edge, a cum followerautornatically flips the knife and three strokes are honed on other side The stroking cycle is repeated continually for duration of setting on electrical timer. Overall dimensions 16"x10"x11" and approx. weight22kg.
