SET OF THREE CONDUCTORS

Conductors readily allow for the passage of electricity through them. When some charge is transferred to a conductor, it readily gets distributed over the entire surface of the conductor.
This kit includes a set of three conductors, made of brass and fitted on an insulated rod.
The conductors included have different shapes, spherical, conical and cylindrical.
This kit is very useful in physics classrooms and labs for demonstration of Gauss’s law relating to distribution of charge and the dependence of field strength near a conductor on its radius of curvature.
Thus students will get a clear understanding about how the shape of a conductor has an effect on the distribution of charge.
