Working Principle
The Inverted Trinocular Metallurgical Microscope operates by illuminating the specimen using a halogen lamp directed through the optical path. Light passes through the high-quality DIN Plan metallurgical objectives and eyepieces to provide magnified, sharp, and high-contrast images. The coaxial coarse and fine focusing system allows precise vertical adjustments of the stage. The double-layer mechanical stage enables smooth XY movement for sample scanning.
The polarizing system, including a 360° rotatable analyzer and removable polarizer, allows advanced polarization studies to analyze structural properties and reflectance of metal specimens. Aperture and field diaphragms control light intensity and contrast, while the included micrometer allows accurate measurement of sample features, providing precise and repeatable results for metallurgical and material science investigations.
