MAGNETOMETER
- Magnetometers are measurement instruments used for two general purposes: to measure the magnetization of a magnetic material like a ferromagnet, or to measure the strength and, in some cases, the direction of the magnetic field at a point in space.
- Our instrument comprises of a stout Bakelite box, 100mm in diameter, with an aluminium dial graduated 0-90° four times and an anti-parallax mirror
- The magnetic needle has an agate bearing and a light aluminium pointer designed for precise reading and maximum damping.
