Senior Laboratory Medical Microscope (BM – 5)

The Senior Laboratory Medical Microscope (BM–5) is designed for precise laboratory and medical observations. It features a 160mm mechanical observation tube with triple nosepiece, separate coarse and fine focus, and a detachable 120x120mm mechanical stage for smooth slide adjustments. The fixed double-lens bright-field Abbe condenser with NA 1.25 ensures sharp imaging. A swing-out filter holder, iris diaphragm, and adjustable stopper protect slides. Illumination is provided via a plano-concave mirror, delivering clear, bright images for professional use.

Key Features

• Mechanical observation tube with 160mm tube length and triple nosepiece
• Separate coarse and fine focusing for precision
• Detachable horizontal mechanical stage 120x120mm for easy slide movement
• Smooth slide adjustment with convenient stage controls
• Double-lens bright-field Abbe condenser NA 1.25 for sharp imaging
• Iris diaphragm for light control and swing-out filter holder
• Adjustable down stopper to prevent accidental slide damage
• Plano-concave mirror illumination for consistent brightness
• Robust build suitable for labs and medical facilities
• Ideal for students, researchers, and lab professionals

Working Principle

The BM–5 microscope works by reflecting light from the plano-concave mirror through the specimen. Light passes through the Abbe condenser to illuminate the sample evenly. The objective lenses magnify the image, and the eyepiece further enlarges it for observation. Users adjust focus with coarse and fine knobs while moving the stage for precise slide positioning. The iris diaphragm and filter holder help control light intensity and contrast for clear imaging.

Use Cases

• Medical laboratories for cell and tissue examination
