Working Principle

The Inverted Trinocular Metallurgical Microscope operates by illuminating the specimen using a halogen lamp directed through the optical path. Light passes through the high-quality DIN Plan metallurgical objectives and eyepieces to provide magnified, sharp, and high-contrast images. The coaxial coarse and fine focusing system allows precise vertical adjustments of the stage. The double-layer mechanical stage enables smooth XY movement for sample scanning.

The polarizing system, including a 360° rotatable analyzer and removable polarizer, allows advanced polarization studies to analyze structural properties and reflectance of metal specimens.
