DEMONSTRATION DYNAMO
- This model dynamo demonstrates the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy.
- It uses the same basic assembly as the motor.
- All the working parts of the electric motor are clearly visible.
- The model is mounted on a base plate, 200×125 mm approximately, which also carries a hand-drive pulley with a diameter of 125mm, coupled to the smaller dynamo pulley by a rubber belt to give a step-up ratio.
- External connection is via 4 mm sockets with a light emitting diode acting as an output indicator.
- The magnetic field is provided by a permanent magnet.
- The model may also be used as a motor on a 6-8V DC supply.
