Working Principle

The FXL Trinocular Microscope operates on an infinity-corrected optical system, which allows light from the specimen to pass through the objective and be focused into parallel rays. These rays are then directed through the trinocular eyepiece tube, producing a sharp, distortion-free image.

The microscope uses a two-step focusing system with coarse and fine adjustments, allowing precise control over focus. Its transmitted LED illumination ensures bright, even lighting, while optional phase, DIC, or polarization techniques enhance contrast and reveal fine structural details.

Plan Apochromat objectives maintain color accuracy and high resolution across the entire magnification range. The mechanical XY stage allows accurate specimen positioning, and the trinocular port supports simultaneous imaging or camera attachment for documentation.
